Cheaper then purchase from Microsoft August 26, 2010 Henry Griffin (San Antonio, TX) About three dollar cheaper then purchase direct from Microsoft, although you do have to wait about a week to receive the points. I believe the saving is less then the one I purchased about a year ago, as I believe the saving was about five dollars.
Better way to get points August 26, 2010 Tech Guy When I run out of points, I prefer to come on to Amazon and buy them either in 1600 or 4000 bunches. I prefer this over giving my credit card info to Microsoft. The only downside to the product is it comes in a blister pack that is a pain to even get the card out. Once you are through that painful process, it is fairly easy to get these points associated with your account.
Better deal then buying them from microsoft! August 24, 2010 Nathan Mollet (Prattville, AL) The price was right on this 4000 point card, it was cheaper then what microsoft was selling the same amount of points for.
Online Game Code FAIL August 24, 2010 Eric M. Bergfield (Austin, TX USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just bought an ONLINE Xbox Live Points Card, and it did NOT work! Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy the online codes, you'll obviously have a high chance of getting ripped of. Thanks for nothing Amazon!!!
Works Great! August 23, 2010 FLYingG0D (GLENDALE, AZ USA) This worked flawlessly for me! Instant too! Entered in the number on the X-Box 360 and instantly had my points!
Press the big X button on the remote, sign-in, then go to the "Marketplace" tab on the left, and select "Redeem Code" and type the number in. That's it, you are done! It detects which kind of card and everything!
This is actually cheaper than buying them through the X-Box itself! Hooray! (However, there seems to be a hidden limit of 1 card per person. Not sure how long until you can buy a second one.)
